Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: August 11, 2026
Welcome to Dromos. These Terms explain the rules for using our platform — whether you are discovering and registering for running events, or creating and managing them as an organizer.
Please read them carefully. By using Dromos, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
01Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Dromos (“Dromos,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website and mobile app. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Dromos.
02Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Dromos account. Minors may participate in events only when the organizer allows it and a parent or guardian registers on their behalf and provides any required consent. By using Dromos, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.
03User Accounts
You sign in to Dromos using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. Please keep your account details accurate and up to date, and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Accounts are used in different roles — runner, organizer, and administrator — and access to certain features depends on your role and, for organizers, on approval by Dromos.
04Event Registration
When you register for an event, you enter into an agreement with that event’s organizer. Dromos facilitates the registration but is not a party to it. Registrations are subject to availability, category limits, and any deadlines or requirements set by the organizer.
You must provide accurate participant information. Your digital QR ticket is your proof of registration and is used for check-in on race day. Do not share or duplicate it, as it may only be used once.
You may register other people alongside yourself in a single order. If you do, you are responsible for the accuracy of their details, for having their permission to provide them, and for accepting the event’s waiver on their behalf — including as the parent or legal guardian of any participant under 18. Tickets for everyone in the order stay with the person who paid.
Some events also appear on Dromos with registrations that were collected elsewhere — for example, where an organizer has moved an existing event onto the platform. If your registration was imported this way, the organizer remains responsible for the details they provided and for any refund of a payment you made outside Dromos, since Dromos never received that money.
05Add-Ons and Merchandise
Organizers may offer extras alongside a registration — for example a finisher shirt, a medal, or a parking pass. These are sold by the organizer, not by Dromos. The organizer sets the price, decides what is included, and is solely responsible for producing the item and handing it over, normally at the event venue or race kit collection.
Add-ons are subject to availability and may sell out. If an add-on is not provided to you, that is a matter between you and the organizer, on the same basis as any other part of the event. Where an organizer approves a refund of your registration, the price of add-ons bought with it is refunded too.
06Results and Timing
Organizers may publish race results through Dromos, including finish times, category placings, and race numbers. Timing is performed by the organizer or their timing provider — Dromos does not time events and does not verify the accuracy of the results submitted to it.
Corrections and disputes about a result are handled by the organizer, who can amend or republish it. If you want a published result about you removed, contact the organizer first; you can also contact us at support@dromosevents.com.
07Payments
Registration fees are set by organizers and displayed before you pay. Payments are handled by trusted third-party payment providers that support methods such as GCash, Maya, and QR Ph. By submitting a payment, you authorize the provider to charge your selected payment method for the total shown, which may include a service or convenience fee.
Dromos does not store your full payment credentials. If a payment fails or is not completed, your registration may not be confirmed and any held slot may be released.
08Refund Policy
Dromos is a platform that connects runners with event organizers. Each event is independently managed by its organizer, who is solely responsible for establishing and administering their refund, cancellation, transfer, and postponement policies.
If an event is cancelled, postponed, or if you wish to request a refund, you must contact the event organizer directly. Any approval, denial, or processing of refunds is at the organizer’s sole discretion and subject to their published event policies.
Dromos does not approve or guarantee refunds and is not responsible for refund decisions made by event organizers. Where an organizer approves a refund, Dromos provides the tools that carry it out — returning the money through our payment provider to the method you paid with — but the decision to refund, and the policy behind it, are the organizer’s alone.
Convenience fees are non-refundable. The convenience fee is itemised separately in your order summary before you pay. It covers processing your payment and issuing your entry — services performed at the time of purchase. If an organizer approves a refund, you will be refunded the registration amount shown in that summary, together with the price of any add-ons you purchased; the convenience fee will not be returned.
Refunds cannot be processed within three days of payment. An organizer can issue an approved refund from the fourth day onward. Refunds are returned to the payment method used at checkout, and the time they take to appear depends on your bank or e-wallet.
09Organizer Responsibilities
As an organizer, you are responsible for your events. This includes:
- Planning, staffing, permits, insurance, and the safe execution of your event.
- Providing accurate event listings, pricing, categories, dates, and locations.
- Honoring valid registrations and delivering what you advertise.
- Setting and applying your own refund and cancellation policy.
- Handling participant data responsibly and complying with applicable laws.
10Runner Responsibilities
As a runner, you agree to:
- Provide accurate personal and registration details.
- Follow the rules, instructions, and safety guidance of each event.
- Ensure you are medically fit to participate before taking part.
- Understand that you participate in events at your own risk.
11Event Waivers
Organizers may require you to accept a waiver or liability release before you can complete your registration. Your acceptance is recorded as part of your registration. Where a minor is participating, a parent or guardian must provide the required consent. Please read each waiver carefully, as it describes the risks of participation and the rights you agree to.
12User Content
Dromos lets you submit content — for example, event details, cover images, event photos, and profile information. You keep ownership of your content, and you grant Dromos a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate and promote the platform and your events.
You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm that you have the rights to share it and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or violate any law.
13Prohibited Activities
When using Dromos, you agree not to:
- Use the platform for fraud, deception, or any unlawful purpose.
- Create fake events, registrations, or accounts, or impersonate others.
- Attempt to bypass fees, payment processes, or security measures.
- Access, scrape, or interfere with the platform or its systems without authorization.
- Upload malicious code or content that is harmful, abusive, or infringing.
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users, organizers, or participants.
14Intellectual Property
The Dromos platform — including its software, design, branding, logos, and content we create — is owned by Dromos and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without our permission. Content owned by organizers and users remains theirs.
15Third-Party Services
Dromos relies on third-party services for payments, authentication, maps, email, and hosting, and may link to organizers’ own sites. These services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
16Limitation of Liability
Dromos is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dromos is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the platform or your participation in events.
17Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dromos and its team from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your events, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of others.
18Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Dromos and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate these Terms, that we reasonably believe are engaged in fraud or abuse, or where required to protect users or comply with the law.
19Platform Changes
We are continually improving Dromos, so we may add, change, or remove features, or temporarily limit or suspend parts of the platform, at any time. We will try to minimize disruption, but we are not liable for changes to or the unavailability of any feature.
20Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will provide additional notice. Your continued use of Dromos after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
21Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Dromos shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Philippines.
